Finding Joy in the Midst of Chaos
I usually reserve The Inspired Copy’s blog page for professional content. However, today I just want to share with you something that’s been on my heart. I want to share with you how I find joy in the midst of chaos.
At every seeming twist and turn, our world looks to be chaos. Hurricanes. Earthquakes. Fires. COVID-19. Political fighting. Division between friends. Division within the Church. Anger. Negativity. And to top it all off…the devastation in Afghanistan.
Everywhere we look negativity abounds. And I’m not okay with that! I no longer want to just sit by and let the negativity wash over me, attempting to drown me and the ones I love in its vicious undertow.
Who Is Liz? – Part 5
I have shared much about myself over the past few months. Some was intended to be fun and lighthearted, while other parts of the series were more business-related. Either way, I hope you’ve been enjoying this once-monthly series introducing myself to you.
In a world filled with information overload, my hope is that these posts slip through the cracks and give you a few, brief moments of easy reading.
How to Make Your Content More Readable
The majority of people that visit your site are in a hurry. They quickly skim your page. If they do not immediately see something that jumps out at them, they move on to another site (i.e. your competitor’s site).
Do you really want to just hand your competitor more business and lose that sale for yourself? I doubt it!
Creating content that has substance is great. However, if you do not format it in a way that is visually appealing and easy to read, no one will read that mind-blowingly good content. Your time is more valuable than that. Don’t waste it writing content that no one will read.
Who Is Liz? – Part 4
How do I top last month’s Star Wars post? Well, “Who Is Liz? – Part 4” is not quite as themed, but I hope it still gives you more insight into Liz the person, not just Liz the copywriter. That is my intention for this once-monthly series.

Copywriting Services: What Can a Copywriter Do for Me?
“You are a copywriter. What does that mean? Are you involved in the printing business? What are copywriting services?” This is a common response when someone not in the marketing world hears the term copywriter.
Even though the word might imply otherwise, copywriting is not working in a print shop making endless copies of documents. Copywriting is the art of selling people on your idea, brand, or product. Effective copywriting is persuasive, but not pushy.
So, what can a copywriter do for you?
Who Is Liz? – Part 3: May the Fourth Be with You
